Close to 90 Flights Connected to Epstein Allegedly Landed at or Took Off from British Airfields
Analysis has uncovered that approximately 90 aircraft journeys connected to the late financier Jeffrey Epstein allegedly arrived at and departed from British airports, with some allegedly transporting British women who assert they were victimized by the convicted child sex offender.
Flight Logs Reveal Trail of Travel
The flight logs were among thousands of legal papers and files released by the estate of Jeffrey Epstein that have been disclosed over the past year. The analysis uncovered 87 flights connected to Epstein â encompassing many that were hitherto undisclosed â landing or taking off from British airfields between the early 1990s and 2018.
Passenger Details and Post-Conviction Flights
Unnamed women were documented among the passengers entering and exiting the UK. Significantly, 15 of these UK flights occurred following Epsteinâs 2008 guilty verdict for soliciting sex from a child.
âThis is âappallingâ that there had never been a âcomprehensive British inquiryâ into his dealings in the country,â stated American attorneys acting for hundreds of Epstein survivors.
British Victims and Court Cases
A statement from one of the British victims was instrumental in convicting Epsteinâs accomplice Ghislaine Maxwell of child sex-trafficking in the US in 2021. Yet, that victim has not received any contact by British law enforcement, according to her attorney based in Florida.
In a response, the the Met said they had ânot received any new information that would support reopening the inquiry.â They added, âIf new and relevant information be presented to us, including any arising from the release of documents in the US, we will assess it.â
Ongoing Disclosure and Legal Rulings
Proposed legislation to make public all files held by the American government in regarding Epstein was approved by the House and Senate last month. The US justice department has until 19 December to comply. A vast number of documents are projected to be released.
Separately, a federal judge decided last week that the DOJ could make public investigative materials from a sex-trafficking case against Maxwell, Epsteinâs long-term associate, who is serving a 20-year jail term over the charges.
