Homages Continue for Rob and Michele Reiner as Medical Examiner's Findings Remain Under Wraps.

More than two weeks subsequent to the heartbreaking passing of renowned film director Rob Reiner and his wife, photographer Michele Reiner, peers and loved ones are still paying respects to the duo.

‘Life is Pain Without You’: Cary Elwes Recalls His Director

Sharing on Instagram, actor Cary Elwes, who was featured in Reiner's iconic movie *The Princess Bride*, stated he finally felt able to express about his deep grief.

"Adequate time has gone by that I can finally put my grief into words," shared Elwes, noting that his introductory moment with Reiner created an instant bond. "Once we started spending more time together I understood this was someone I wanted in my life."

The actor posted archival material from the production, remarking that he could not remember "one day without mirth".

"The film is about affection, allegiance and giving. Principles that Rob cherished deeply. This is one of the many reasons he was the best person to helm it," Elwes wrote.

He went on to praise Michele Reiner, stating: "Asserting that they were a incredible duo would be an oversimplification. My heart still hurts every time I remember you." He ended with a line from *The Princess Bride*: "Sure, death cannot stop true love but living is anguish without you."

Martin Scorsese Remembers a Fellow Artist

In a distinct piece, legendary director Martin Scorsese paid homage to Reiner, whom he originally knew in the 1970s.

"Immediately, I loved being with Rob. We had a natural affinity for each other. He was hilarious and sometimes acutely humorous, but he was never the kind of guy who would command the room," Scorsese said.

Scorsese mentioned Reiner's supporting role in his 2013 film *The Wolf of Wall Street*, portraying the father of the lead role.

"He could improvise with the best. He was a expert at comedy, he worked wonderfully with everyone, and he grasped the human predicament of his character," Scorsese wrote.

Judicial Actions: Autopsy Reports Sealed

Recently, a Los Angeles court official agreed to prevent the publication of the Reiners' autopsy reports, following a petition from the LAPD.

A legal directive placed a embargo on the investigation to restrict the public release of "all case details, documents, files or images" associated with the active case.

The coroner's office had earlier stated their deaths were the consequence of murder, with a public database noting the cause as "injuries from a sharp object".

Aftermath and Reactions

In the wake of the killings, public figures expressed varying comments.

Ex-President Donald Trump posted on the matter, offering controversial statements that were broadly criticized by many commentators.

Podcaster Joe Rogan added his voice to the detractors recently. Conversing on his show, Rogan characterized the statements as "disappointing" and implied they demonstrated a concerning lack of empathy.

Rogan finished by proposing that an adviser could have stepped in when the impulse to weigh in on the tragedy was made.
